Metallic Foil
A foil is a thin sheet of metal. Many metals can be produced into foils, such as: gold, silver, aluminum, copper, nickel, tantalum, niobium, tungsten, molybdenum and other metals and their alloys.
With the development of industry and the improvement of technology, the demand for various metal and its alloy thin strips and extremely thin strips in all walks of life continues to grow. The variety of metal and alloy foil is also increasing.
Gold foil, silver foil, aluminum foil and copper foil are generally used for decoration or packaging. Copper-nickel alloy foil and nickel-chromium alloy foil electricity is mainly used in the production of force and strain gauges, precision resistors and audio recording, video head gap pieces. Tungsten foil is most commonly used in special tubes. Iron-nickel alloy foils are used to make miniature high-frequency pulse transformers, and rare earth metal foils are used in atomic reactors.
Tantalum foil has excellent corrosion resistance. The melting point of tantalum foil is 2996℃. Tantalum foil is a high-temperature metal. Tantalum foils can be used to prepare electrodes, capacitors and support sheets.
Fortu Tech can produce tantalum foils, tantalum plates, tantalum tubes, tantalum sheets, tantalum wires, tantalum targets and tantalum processing parts according to customer requirements.
