What is Vanadium?

Vanadium is a silver-gray metal. The melting point of vanadium is 1890 ℃. It is a high melting point rare metal. The boiling point of vanadium is 3380℃.

Pure vanadium is hard and non-magnetic. It is malleable, but if it contains a small amount of impurities, especially nitrogen, oxygen, hydrogen, etc., it can significantly reduce its plasticity.

Application of Vanadium

Vanadium is an important alloying element, mainly used in the steel industry. Vanadium-containing steel has excellent properties such as high strength, high toughness and good wear resistance.

Vanadium is widely used in machinery, automotive, shipbuilding, railways, aviation, Bridges, electronic technology, defense industry and other industries.
