Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo-alloys is an alpha-beta titanium alloy. Ti 6246 contains 5.5%~6.5% Al, 1.75%~2.25% Sn, 3.6%~4.4% Zr and 5.5%~6.5% Mo. Ti 6246 owns low modulus of elasticity and low Density to Weight Ratio.
Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo-alloy has great resistance to fatigue. It can attain higher strengths after heat treatment. The melting range of Ti 6246 is from 1595 to 1675°C. Density of Ti 6246 is 4.64 g/cm³. It conforms to UNS R56260.
