Density of Ta10W alloys is 16.84 g·cm-3. Melting Point is 3033 ˚C. Ta10W alloys can be produced through vacuum-arc melted, electron-beam (EB) furnace melted.
The combination of Vacuum-arc melted and EB melted can produce the Ta10W alloys as well.
Tantalum-10%Tungsten has good mechanical properties at high temperature. Under recrystallization and deformation conditions, Ta-10W has low temperature ductility and machinability, so the welding performance of Ta-10W is particularly good. Ta10W is also resistant to corrosion.

Tantalum 10 tungsten can be used at high temperatures up to 2500 degrees Celsius.
Tantalum-10%Tungsten is widely used at high temperatures and chemical industry.
In the aerospace field, Tantalum R05255 is also used in nozzles, inserts, orientations, and structural materials.
Ta10W is used in rolling mill products and Ta-10W can be machined into mesh components and assemblies.
Because of its excellent welding properties, Ta10W wire can be used for welding purposes.
