Ti Grade 23 Titanium alloy is a strong and durable alloy. ELI means Extra Low interstial. Ti-6Al-4V-ELI-alloy has excellent resistance to acid and gas corrosion. Ti Grade 23 has excellent fracture toughness and faTigue strength.Ti-6Al-4V-ELI plate, Ti-6Al-4V-ELI rod, Ti-6Al-4V-ELI foil, Ti-6Al-4V-ELI wire are the most commonly used alloys in the alpha-plus-beta class.
Ti Grade 23 differs from Ti Grade 5 in its purity: Grade 23 Titanium alloys have a higher purity due to reduced oxygen content to 0.13%(Max).
Reduced interstitial elements oxygen and iron improve plasticity and fracture toughness.
