Ti662 titanium alloy

Ti662(Ti-6Al-6V-2Sn-0.5Cu-0.5Fe) titanium alloy is a high strength titanium alloy. It is based on Ti Grade 5(Ti-6Al-4V). The strength of Ti662 titanium alloy pipe can reach 1200MPa after solution aging heat treatment. Ti662 titanium alloy is mainly used in the temperature of 300-400℃, Ti662 titanium alloy can be produced mainly plate, bar and small forgings, for aviation structural parts, centrifuges, rocket engines and other components.

Because Ti662 titanium alloy has high specific strength, excellent corrosion resistance, working in seawater medium or complex geological environmental conditions, corrosion resistance is higher than stainless steel, especially the resistance to pitting corrosion, acid corrosion and stress corrosion is particularly strong, therefore, in recent years, it has been used in petrochemical equipment and its exploration equipment. It is used more in the United States, and the similar brand in China is TC10.
