Tantalum 2.5 tungsten and tantalum 10 tungsten

With the development of science and technology, China's manufacturing industry is expanding to the high-end field. As an important refractory metal, tantalum is widely used in high-end manufacturing industry. In particular, tantalum 2.5 tungsten alloy and tantalum 10 tungsten alloy, these two alloy materials, because of their excellent properties, have become the key materials in aerospace, chemical, electronics and other fields.

Tantalum-2.5 tungsten rod and tantalum-10 tungsten rod are two typical tungsten-tantalum alloys, their main components are tantalum and tungsten, but also contain a small amount of cobalt, niobium, chromium and other elements. The addition of these elements makes the Ta2.5W alloys wire and Ta10W alloys wires have good thermodynamic properties, mechanical properties and chemical stability.

First, Ta-2.5%W alloys wire and Ta-10%W alloys wires have very high melting points. The melting point of tantalum 2.5 tungsten wire is about 3000 degrees Celsius, and the melting point of tantalum 10 tungsten wire is about 3150 degrees Celsius. This makes the two alloys still able to maintain good performance at high temperatures, which is very suitable for application in aerospace, nuclear industry and other fields.

Secondly, tantalum-2.5% tungsten rods and tantalum-10% tungsten rods have high tensile strength. After reasonable processing, the tensile strength of Ta-2.5W alloys rod and Ta-10W alloys rod can reach more than 1000MPa, which is close to the strength of high-grade steel. Moreover, the elastic modulus of these two alloys is low, and they have good elastic and fatigue resistance.

In addition, tantalum 2.5 tungsten plate and tantalum 10 tungsten plate also have good corrosion resistance. Due to the high atomic mass of tantalum, tantalum 2.5 tungsten alloy plate and tantalum 10 tungsten alloy plate have a high density, which makes their dissolution rate in corrosive media is reduced, thus improving the corrosion resistance.

The heat treatment process has an important influence on the properties of tantalum 2.5 tungsten alloy tube and tantalum 10 tungsten alloy tube. In general, the heat treatment process of tantalum 2.5 tungsten and tantalum 10 tungsten includes solution treatment, aging treatment and annealing treatment. The mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance of the alloy can be improved by reasonable heat treatment process.
