Electrolytic capacitor anode lead
An important use of tantalum metal is the manufacture of tantalum electrolytic capacitors. The manufacturing process of tantalum electrolytic capacitors usually includes the following steps: Tantalum powder is put into a die and buried in tantalum wire, and then pressed to form a billet, and the billet is burned into a porous body with interconnected particles in a vacuum furnace, and then the porous sintered body is anodized in a suitable electrolyte, so that the surface of the porous particles forms a uniform and interconnected dielectric oxide film to form an anode block. Then the cathode material is coated on the surface of the oxide film of the anode block, and finally the electrolytic capacitor is made by encapsulation.
At room temperature, the density of tantalum is 16.65 g/cm3, while the density of niobium is only 8.57 g/cm3. Therefore, the density of tantalum-niobium alloys is usually between metallic tantalum and metallic niobium. Since the density of tantalum niobium alloy is less than that of tantalum metal, the length of tantalum niobium alloy wire per unit weight will be significantly higher than that of pure tantalum wire when the wire diameter is the same.
Fortu Tech can produce and process tantalum wire, niobium wire, tantalum niobium wire according to customer's demand.
