The production of tantalum capacitors begins with the preparation of the anode. First, cut the tantalum wire to the required length and clean the surface impurities to ensure good electrical conductivity. Then, the high-purity tantalum powder is mixed with the binder and pressed into blocks, while tantalum wires are embedded as leads. Subsequently, vacuum sintering is carried out at a high temperature of 1500-2000℃. The tantalum particles form a porous structure, and the tantalum wire is firmly connected to the sintered body to form a conductive path.

Then comes the formation of the dielectric layer (anodizing). The sintered tantalum block is immersed in an acidic electrolyte and a direct current voltage is applied. A tantalum pentoxide film is formed on the surface of the tantalum as the dielectric layer, and the voltage determines the withstand voltage value. In terms of cathode preparation, solid electrolytes (such as manganese dioxide) are generated on the porous anode surface through the thermal decomposition of manganese nitrate solution; Some types use conductive liquids, and solid electrolytes are more common. Afterwards, graphite was coated on the surface of manganese dioxide to improve the conductivity, and then a silver paste layer was applied as the external electrode connection interface.

Finally, there is packaging and assembly. The internal structure is protected by epoxy resin or molded plastic encapsulation. Tantalum wire is used as the anode lead to connect the external pins, and the cathode pins are connected to the silver layer. Parameters are marked and electrical performance is tested. Tantalum wire plays the role of a conductive bridge in it, connecting the anode with the external circuit. Provide mechanical support and fix the structure; It is also compatible with automated production and simplifies the process. Meanwhile, during the production process, attention should be paid to the quality of the dielectric layer, control the impurities of tantalum materials, and precisely manage the temperatures of the sintering and oxidation processes.
