The melting point of Nb pipe is as high as 2468 ℃, and Cb pipe has good strength and ductility. Niobium tubing can still maintain stable mechanical properties under high temperature environment. In addition, niobium tubings exhibit extremely low resistance and high critical magnetic field in the superconducting state, which is suitable for use in superconducting materials.

In terms of chemical properties, niobium tube has a strong affinity for oxygen and nitrogen, and it is easy to react with these elements at high temperatures. Niobium tubes have good corrosion resistance to a variety of acids, such as sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, but are more vulnerable to hydrofluoric acid.
