Fortu Tech is an ISO Certified Corporation located in China and specializes in manufacturing Nitinol Ingot. We have more than 20 years of production experience. Our products are Conflict Free material.
Fortu Tech can customize the Nitinol Ingot according to your demand. Welcome to contact us if you have any questions or requirements.Nitinol ingots are the primary casting form of nickel-titanium shape memory alloys (Ni-Ti) and are usually used as raw materials for subsequent processing (such as rolling, forging, and drawing). The chemical composition and physical properties of nickel-titanium ingots directly affect the performance of the final product (such as superelasticity and shape memory effect).
The microstructure of nickel-titanium alloys ingots during the casting stage is usually coarse columnar crystals (directional solidification) or equiaxed crystals (common casting).
In the subsequent processing of nickel-titanium ingots, homogenization annealing, hot machining, that is, hot rolling and forging, are required to refine the grains.

Nitinol Ingot is the raw material form of nickel-titanium alloy, typically referring to block-shaped or rod-shaped semi-finished products formed through smelting and casting. Its primary purpose is not direct application in end products but to serve as a base material for downstream processing (e.g., forging, rolling, drawing) to produce finished or semi-finished products in various forms (e.g., wires, tubes, sheets).
Rolling and Drawing: Nitinol ingots are rolled into plates or rods, or drawn into fine filaments (e.g., medical-grade superelastic wires with diameters <0.1mm). Forging and Cutting: Ingots are forged into blanks of specific shapes or cut into small pieces for precision instrument components.
Nitinol ingots act as the original carrier of alloy composition, used to verify whether the nickel-to-titanium ratio (e.g., 50.8% Ni and 49.2% Ti atomic ratio) meets medical or industrial standards. By adjusting the heat treatment processes (e.g., annealing temperature) of the ingots, researchers study the critical temperatures (e.g., Af temperature) of their shape memory effect (SME) and superelasticity (SE).
Ingots with added trace elements (e.g., copper, iron) are customized to develop enhanced Nitinol variants (e.g., reducing phase transformation hysteresis or improving fatigue resistance). Large-sized ingots are used to manufacture large structural components (e.g., satellite antenna brackets), requiring ingots to be free from internal defects.
In addition to Nitinol Ingot, we also produce Nitinol Foil & Strip, Nitinol Tube & Pipe, Nitinol Sheet & Plate, Nitinol Pellets, Nitinol Rod, Nitinol Wire, Nitinol Disc, Nitinol Shield, Nitinol Target, Nitinol machined parts, Nitinol Additive.
