The90% tantalum 10% tungsten ingot is a high-performance alloy composed of Ta10W, featuring excellent comprehensive properties.
Its density reaches 16.6 g/cm3, with a melting point of approximately 3000℃. It combines the corrosion resistance of tantalum and the high-temperature strength of tungsten. Its hardness is HV220-250.
The thermal conductivity is 54W/(m·K) at room temperature, the resistivity is 15μΩ·cm, and the thermal expansion coefficient is 6.5×10-6/K. This material exhibits outstanding creep resistance at high temperatures, is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, and is easier to process than pure tungsten. It is suitable for the manufacturing of key components in extreme environments.

The Ta-10W ingot (i.e., alloy casting or forging billet) is a high-purity, high-density raw material, mainly used for subsequent processing into various high-performance components. The 90% tantalum 10% tungsten ingot is the base material for Ta10W target, which is used for cutting into Ta10W sputtering targets. The tantalum-10 tungsten ingot is a sheet/rod/tube billet, and is made into corrosion-resistant or high-temperature-resistant structural components through rolling, extrusion, etc. The tantalum tungsten alloy ingot is also the blank for implants, which are subsequently processed into bone screws and joint coatings. The Ta10W ingot can be processed into the leading edge material of hypersonic aircraft, utilizing its thermal shock resistance (such as the wing leading edge, nose cone).
